By registering for this event you agree that you are physically able to take part in this yoga class and are doing so at your own risk and that you agree to waive, release and discharge from tort liability, any negligence of teachers and/or event host, Sanctuary Village.

The workshops will be led by certified, experienced instructors.  This retreat is suitable for yoga practitioners of all levels - even ones with no prior experience.

- The day will begin with a gentle yoga session to allow us to warm up our muscles and joints, and will include some yoga breathing exercises. A great prep for the rest of the day.

Instructor: JAMILA SALEH FARRELL, MS (YTT 200-hour certified instructor) - is a yoga teacher and a psychotherapist who knows how critical it is to pause and practice self-care in our demanding world. She guides her students in the healing benefits of yoga for mental and physical health. Her teaching style is warm and inviting and she works to foster a sense of connection to self and others.

- The kundalini portion will be an intro this practice, an energizing class where the philosophy of kundalini yoga will be shared. If you have never done a kundalini class, you will find this fascinating and invigorating.

Instructor: JAMES BISHOP (SIRI SEVAK SINGH, 500-credit hour certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher) - has been teaching and practicing kundalini yoga, meditation, and sound healing for over eight years.  He offers gong sound healings for individuals, couples, and large gatherings.  Siri Sevak also teaches chair yoga to seniors and has volunteered teaching at the VA.

- The hatha class will include seated and standing poses as well as some core work and balancing - a pretty typical hatha class that will be doable for anyone but will also offer options for more experienced practitioners.

Instructor: CATHERINE FARRELL, PhD (RYT-200 certified), spends her days working in the pharma industry and promoting Sanctuary Village, and has also been teaching all-levels yoga classes since 2015. She loves how yoga leads us on a path to self-awareness, on top of all of the physical and mental (aka, calming) benefits if offers.

- We will end with a restorative class which is all about relaxation and how to let yourself go in supported poses that do not require any exertion. You may love this session most of all.

Instructor: GINGER SABLE (RYT-200 certified), is a dancer who discovered yoga as a way to nurture and care for her body and soul. As she neared her fiftieth birthday she added massage therapy to her training, which added new dimensions of understanding and appreciation for the mind-body connection and its healing capacity. Ginger will share her favorite basic restorative poses. No props are required.

Lunch will be vegetarian and healthy!
